Hollywood Tower Hotel Plaque

Last Sunday's Trivia Question was:

Right before you enter the Tower of Terror building, there is a plaque that says what year the Hollywood Tower Hotel was established.  Anyone know what that year is?

The answer is: 1917. The plaque can be seen just before you make a left hand turn to enter the ride building.
